Onlab’s co-directors Nicolas Bourquin and Thibaud Tissot, both from Switzerland, will be presenting their work in the field of infographics, giving an insight into their design process from the initial stages to the final printed or animated result and showing projects commissioned by clients such as Audi, Wallpaper, Domus and Reflex Magazine. They will also talk about their bestselling books, the two editions of “Data Flow: Visualizing Information in Graphic Design” (Gestalten Verlag), which they co-edited and designed.
Started in 2001 in Berlin, Onlab works on commissioned as well as self-initiated projects, ranging from book to exhibition design. Their best-known works to date are their redesign of the Italian architecture magazine Domus, the visual identity for the Swiss city of Tramelan, and the logo for online music platform Soundcloud.
